Regular readers
have probably heard of the rebellious Juliet Capulet and her headstrong resistance to the dashing County
Paris. For days, the young girl was either crying in her room or spending
time at the monastery with poor old Friar Lawrence. County Paris just stood aside waiting for young Juliet to beak, as promised. Nearing the last
two days, just when all hope seemed to be lost of breaking the free spirit, she relents. "And [I] beg your pardon: pardon,
I beseech you! Henceforward I am ever ruled by you." was what came out Juliet's mouth as she faces her mother in her
bedroom after returning from the monastery.
When Lord
Capulet heard that his daughter had finally given in, he set the wedding date even earlier. First scheduled for Friday was
later scheduled for Thursday. And Thursday now to Wednesday, or tomorrow. There is no need to RSVP, just come
drop in for the ceremony. The ceremony is brought to you by Lady Capulet and everyone is registered for gifts behind the church
in the open feild! Come join us in the monastery tomorrow to see this lovely couple wed in holy matrimony. It seems that good
old Friar Lawrence has proven himself a holy man once again.
